I was reading an interesting article about famous writers from Vashon Island.
They had several ones but the most famous and successful writer is our beloved Betty MacDonald.
Kathy, you are right. I'd love to visit beautiful Vashon Island too.

We had an international Betty MacDonald Meeting in Oslo with many fans from all over the world.
Betty MacDonald Fan Club has members in 25 countries.
Our honour members are Betty MacDonald's good friend Monica Sone, author of Nisei Daughter and Betty MacDonald's wonderful nephew Darsie Beck, who is a writer and artist. Darsie Beck lives on Vashon Island.
My dream is to visit very beautiful Vashon Island some day.
